John Le, M.D.
Dr. John Le is a Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Ophthalmology, specializing in Comprehensive Ophthalmology. With his background in Internal Medicine, Dr. Le fully appreciates the relationship between the whole person and their eyes.
He hopes to use his training to provide compassionate and detail oriented medical and surgical eye care. Dr. Le completed both his Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology Residencies at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 2013 and awarded Ophthalmology Resident of the Year in 2018-2019. Prior to Ophthalmology, he served as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at VCU, providing clinical teaching and instruction to medical residents on the Medicine, Oncology and GI wards. He has co-authored papers focusing on leukemic infiltration of the retina as well as orbital langerhans cell histiocytosis. He has organized numerous medical initiatives for the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
