Amanda Deasy, D.O.
A native of Alabama, Dr. Amanda Deasy is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and fellowship trained medical retina specialist. She received her medical degree from the Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, an honorary osteopathic service fraternity.
Dr. Deasy completed her medical internship and ophthalmology residency at the Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where she served as chief resident.She continued her training in a medical retina fellowship in Orlando, Florida, at the VA Medical Center in affiliation with the University of Central Florida School of Medicine.
Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, general ophthalmology, in office cosmetic procedures, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions including age related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retina vascular disease.
Dr. Deasy looks forward to bringing her skills to the Richmond area as a member of the team at Dominion Eye Associates.
