Paul J. Palisano, O.D.

Dr. Paul J. Palisano was born and raised in Buffalo, New York.  He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and received a Bachelor of Science in Education.  During his third year in Optometry school, Dr. Paul J. Palisano pursued an externship program inpatient rehabilitation at the Veterans’ Administration Hospital that led him into the health care field of Optometry, from which he earned his degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry.  Today, he helps his patients keep a clear eye on the world around them by caring for their vision.  To continue to do that well, he invests time in building trusting relationships with his patients.

Dr. Palisano has been in practice for over 30 years and has an extensive background in all things eye-related.  He diagnoses and treats eye diseases, manages diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, and co-manages cataract surgeries.  His curious nature helps him stay on top of the latest advances in his field, which he accomplishes by attending continuing education conferences and workshops and reading respected professional journals.  Dr. Palisano’s past work experiences of practicing in private practices, working in LASIK institutions, and treating patients within Ophthalmology practices and medical centers bring a wide range of talent to Dominion Eye Associates and our valued patients.  His passion for multi-specialty Optometry and his attention to detail while treating patients is a coveted skill set and stands only to benefit our patients and community.

In his free time, Dr. Palisano is an avid sports enthusiast in football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.  He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two grown children and attending live theatre performances on Broadway.  In addition, Dr. Palisano donates his time to provide vision screenings in the Special Olympics sports organization.  As a local of the Chesterfield area since 1994, Dr. Palisano and his wife are seasoned residents and involved in our community they, too, call home.  Dr. Paul J. Palisano is excited to join Dominion Eye Associates and looks forward to seeing you in the clinic.
